Crypto Christmas Soiree: Hosted by TBD & Songhai Advisory

Twas such a pleasure co-hosting a “Crypto Christmas Soiree” with TBD last week at the enchanting Theia’s House in Accra. The ambiance was lovely, the conversations were engaging and the food (particularly the samosas, brownies and chicken!) was delectable! A huge thank you goes out to: Tony Tom for being such an excellent co-host & panelist – your humour and fluency in breaking down crypto made it a pleasure to listen & learn from you; Houssam Ghandour & Lana Capitan for the beautiful setting, the attention to detail and for leading such a great team @Theia’s (who stayed far beyond their bedtime to accommodate us until 11pm!); our wonderful panelists Lady Dentaa Amoateng MBE, Isaac Newton Acquah, @Courage Kweson who shared their candid stories of their use of crypto and how they see it evolving in Ghana/Africa; to our “photo” Cyril for his tireless attempts to get us to strike a pose; the amazing Songhai Advisory team, from afar- Nana Adu Ampofo, Adedayo Ademuwagun Anoushka Kurkjian - and near - Togobo, Lord-Gustav for keeping us all in check and on point as our affable Master of Ceremonies and Leila Serwaah Khalid for all the stellar behind the scenes prep. And of course, to each and every attendee, whether crypto convert or sceptic: you battled through the legendary pre-Christmas Accra traffic to be with us. We don’t take it for granted.
