Election bites: Nigeria 2023 (battleground states)

Polls are scheduled to take place in February 2023. President Muhammadu Buhari cannot run again and the longstanding 'zoning' convention is in question. Whoever the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the opposition People’s Democratic Party (PDP) choose as candidates, the eventual result will likely be determined by the voting tally in 12 states distributed across the six geopolitical zones.
